KUCHING: Three key development projects in the Santubong constituency have been completed, bringing valuable upgrades to local infrastructure and community facilities, said Women, Family and Community Development Minister Datuk Seri Nancy Shukri.

“I hope that the upgrading of the mosque and community halls will, to some extent, transform the development landscape of the Santubong constituency and provide greater comfort to the village residents, especially when using the facilities that have been provided,” she said in a Facebook post today (Dec 28).

The projects include the refurbishment of Masjid Darul Asyikin in Kampung Sg Lumut, featuring a new fence and mosque name signage, and the renovation of Dewan DSWJ in Kampung Tabuan Lot.

Additionally, the multipurpose hall flooring in Kampung Selang Ulu has been enhanced, along with improvements to parking and other facilities.

Nancy expressed her gratitude to the Sarawak Development Office (SDO) and the contractors for their efficient work in completing the projects on time.
