Long Lama: Telang Usan assemblyman Dennis Ngau donated two cows and a buffalo to the Muslim community here in conjunction with Hari Raya Aidiladha celebration on Friday.
He also witnessed the ritual slaughter or korban of the cows and the buffalo which was held at the compound of Long Lama’s mosque, Masjid Darussalam.
Later 75 Muslims in Long Lama were given the meat.
Each one of them received 3.7kg of the meat presented by Dennis.
The assemblyman also presented a government grant of RM6,000 to Long Lama’s “Saudara Kita” Secretariat Committee for its annual activities.
