BINTULU: Tanjong Batu assemblyman Johnny Pang Leong Ming expressed his commitment to continue monitoring the situation and ensure that the communities affected by the floods in his area receive due attention.
While expressing sympathy to those affected by the current challenges, he urged the people to unite and support each other.
“In this challenging time, my heart also sympathises with all those affected. I really hope that we can stand together, support each other, and go through this trial with perseverance,” he said while reviewing the process of distributing aid to the affected victims at Jalan Desa Damai this afternoon.
Pang also emphasised that the spirit of togetherness was very important to ensure that the community could rise again.
In addition, he expressed his appreciation to all contributors who had shown concern, hoping that the assistance provided could ease the burden of the victims and help them start their lives anew.
“We are very grateful to all the contributors who have shown concern and togetherness.
“This aid is expected to ease the burden of disaster victims and help them rebuild their lives,” said the Tanjong Batu assemblyman again.
