SERIAN: Two motorists sustained injuries following a two-vehicle collision along Jalan Kuching-Serian on Sunday.
The accident, involving a motorcycle ridden by a man and a car driven by a woman, happened at around 5pm near the junction to Baki new town.

According to the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), the rider sustained injuries to his right arm and left leg while, the driver sustained a minor injury to her left leg.
Firefighters from the Serian station were dispatched to the scene to attend to the injured victims following a distress call.
Both victims, whose identities were not known, were transported to Serian Hospital for further treatment. The operation concluded at 5.26pm once the situation was deemed safe.
Meanwhile, in Sri Aman, a family of three had a terrifying moment when their pick-up truck skidded and overturned into a roadside drain at Bukit Begunan, Jalan Sri Aman-Serian.
The accident occurred at around 6.20pm and the victims, including a child, managed to exit the vehicle with help from members of the public before emergency responders arrived.
Firefighters from the Sri Aman station were deployed to the scene, about 50km away, following an emergency call.
The victims were administered with first aid before being transported to Sri Aman Hospital for further treatment.
Once the situation was deemed safe, the operation ended at 7.20pm.
