KUCHING: RJ Group of Companies and Maybank have strengthened their partnership by offering end-to-end financing solutions for buyers of Zai Residences, the property developer’s latest residential development in Sarawak.
The financing options are intended to make homeownership more accessible while supporting the purchase of green-certified homes.
Zai Residences comprises 422 service apartments with built-up areas ranging from 527 to 1,279 square feet.
The development, which offers convenient access to the city centre and surrounding amenities, is scheduled for completion in the third quarter of 2029.
It is also currently pursuing Green Building Index (GBI) certification.
RJ Group of Companies chief executive officer Datuk Lily Lim said the partnership reflected a long-standing relationship between the two organisations and their shared goal of making quality and sustainable living more accessible.
“Building a green home is only one part of the journey. People also need financing that gives them confidence to take the next step.
“Our partnership with Maybank continues to be driven by a mutual goal, which is to make quality and sustainable living more accessible.
“We want buyers to enjoy a home that is designed for the future while having financing flexibility that makes the homeownership journey easier,” she said in a statement today.
Homebuyers may choose between two Maybank financing options: the bundled Maybank MaxiHome and MyDeco Financing package, or standalone Maybank MaxiHome financing tailored to selected certified green properties.
The bundled package combines MaxiHome financing at preferential rates with an additional financing margin of up to 30 per cent of the property price through MyDeco Financing.
The additional financing can be used for interior design, furnishings, fittings and decoration.
Under the standalone Maybank MaxiHome financing for certified green properties, eligible customers may receive financing of up to 95 per cent of the home’s purchase price.
An additional five per cent may also be provided to cover expenses including credit insurance or takaful, legal fees, valuation fees and stamp duty.
RJ Group added that the two financing options would give prospective homeowners greater flexibility when purchasing and furnishing their homes while providing access to the long-term benefits associated with sustainable living.
