SIBU: The Progressive Democratic Party (PDP) Dudong Service Centre distributed RM200,000 in Rural Transformation Project (RTP) funds to six recipients within the Dudong constituency recently.
PDP Dudong chairman Datuk Teo Boon Siew officiated the brief presentation ceremony.
The beneficiaries included two schools, an association, two Village Development and Security Committees (JKKK), and a mosque.
The Durin Sibu Community Association received a substantial RM80,000 to upgrade the Durin waterfront.
Meanwhile, Masjid Darul Istiqamah was allocated RM40,000 to construct a hall.
For schools, SJKC Thian Hua received RM25,000 to improve its multipurpose court, while SJK(C) Do Nang was granted RM25,000 for infrastructure repairs and upgrades.
Additionally, JKKK Rumah Edward Chendang Ambau received RM20,000 for road upgrades, and JKKK Rumah Gani Ubong was allocated RM10,000 for court repairs and parking area improvements.
