MERADONG: A total of RM200,000 will be allocated to upgrade five roads in Meradong.
The allocation comes under the Meradong constituency Rural Transformation Programme (RTP) project fund.
Sarawak Public Communication Unit (Ukas) reported that the five roads to be repaired are Jalan Siew Bakong, Sungai Bakong; Jalan Ming Chiang, Sungai Meradong; Jalan Ming Hing, Sungai Mador; Jalan Sing Hing, Sungai Bakong and Jalan Kai Siang, in Sungai Mador.
Meradong assemblyman Datuk Ding Kuong Hiing said this during the handover ceremony of RTP project side on Monday.
Upgrading works will be carried out within six months from Nov 23 this year until March 22 next year, he pointed out.
