RM200k project to mitigate riverine erosion

BALINGIAN: A project to mitigate the riverine erosion at Kampung Masjid Balingian here will commence in March.

The project, which costs RM200,000 is funded under the Rural Transformation Programme (RTP) grant.

A handover of the project site was conducted by Mukah Drainage and Irrigation Department (DID) representative Nurul Lisa Raduan to Balingian service centre special officer Che Ghazali Arbi.

Che Ghazali was representing the contractor responsible for implementing the project.

He expressed hope for the contractor to carry out the task given and complete the project within the specified timeframe.

Also present were representative from the Balingian sub-district office Abdul Malik Talip, and Kampung Masjid Balingian village head Jahui Mohidin.
