RM300k allocated for construction of drains

KOTA SAMARAHAN: The Integrated Regional Samarahan Development Agency (IRSDA) has allocated funds for the construction of drainage systems for several villages here.

Stakan assemblyman Datuk Hamzah Brahim said a total of RM300,000 has been allocated for the construction of drains in Kampung Merdang Gayam, Kampung Merdang Lumut, Kampung Sungai Empit and Kampung Sijiram.

Meanwhile, a total of RM200,000 has been allocated for Kampung Merdang Limau.

Hamzah made these remarks during ‘Ngiling Tikai’ programme held here recently.

Following that, he will provide a sum of RM50,000 for each respective village to support their community activities.

At the same event, he also handed over educational assistance of RM1,200 to a student, Chismone George Christopher.

Also present were the organising chairman of ‘Ngiling Tikai’ programme, Daily Joseph and Kampung Merdang Gayam chief Wiliam Dickey.
