DALAT: The Dalat Constituency Service Centre contributed RM3,500 to two recipients here on Friday.
Connie Ong Hui May received RM2,500 and Ashley Daisybelle Joddy RM1,000.
Ong will use the money to purchase a wheelchair while Ashley needs it to buy an
infusion pump.
Welfare, Community Wellbeing, Women, Family and Childhood Development Minister Datuk Seri Fatimah Abdullah presented the contribution to the recipients during a marriage course at the Dalat Community Hall here on Friday.
During the event, she also presented funds to three recipients through the Endowment Fund Sarawak (EFS), and Special Annual Grants (GTKs). Fatimah, who is also Dalat
assemblywoman, officiated at the closing ceremony of the course which was attended by 41 couples.
