BINTULU: The Bintulu Disaster Management Committee (BDMC) received a RM50,000 donation to support flood victims, contributed by international trading company, Nissin Shoji, in collaboration with TSCH International Trading Sdn. Bhd. and BBC Plantation Sdn. Bhd.

According to Nissin Shoji’s president, Hiroaki Tsutsui, his company deeply sympathises with the flood victims and is committed to helping the affected communities.

“As a country that frequently faces natural disasters, we understand the challenges faced by flood victims.

“This donation is a sign of our support for the local community, and we hope it will help them recover,” he said.

He said this during the donation handover ceremony at Crown Dynasty Restaurant, here recently.

Apart from financial contributions, Nissin Shoji is also actively involved in various initiatives to strengthen ties with the local community.

Hiroaki emphasised that his company would continue to collaborate with local partners for the sustainability of Sarawak’s economy and environment.

The donation ceremony reflected the solidarity between the corporate sector and the community in facing natural disasters, further strengthening the spirit of togetherness in post-flood recovery efforts.
