LUNDU: Residents of Kampung Pasir Tengah will soon enjoy improved infrastructure and facilities, with a RM6 million allocation for various development projects, including the new Sangat Agricultural Road.
Opar assemblyman Billy Sujang, reaffirmed his commitment to ensure continuous progress for the village, highlighting his efforts in securing the necessary funding.
“My hope is that the people of Kampung Pasir Tengah are pleased with the projects being implemented.
“To date, the total value of the projects I have championed here is approximately RM6 million,” he said.

He said this during the ground-breaking ceremony for the Sangat Agricultural Road project in Kampung Pasir Tengah recently.
Billy further said the RM1.408 million project is part of a broader initiative to improve infrastructure in the area.
Other planned development projects include the construction of St Cosmas Church, a multipurpose hall, upgrades to the village community hall, improvements to the gravity-fed water system, the paving of roads, and the construction of an agricultural road to Batu Wangkang.
Later at the same event, in response to the recent floods, Billy also distributed aid to affected families to help ease their burden.
