BINTULU: Members of the public are advised to take note of seven road closures here tomorrow (Jan 1) for the 2025 Fu De Zhen Shen (Tua Pek Kong) Procession.
Bintulu deputy police chief DSP Mohd Fazri Yusof said that the road closures will commence from 6 pm to 10 pm in the Pasar Bintulu and Parkcity areas.
The affected roads are:
- Jalan Abang Galau (from the temple direction)
- Jalan Tun Razak (from The Spring direction)
- Jalan Kambar Bubin
- Parkcity area from SJK(C) Chung Hua towards Commerce Square
- Jalan Paragon (from The Spring direction)
- Jalan Law Gek Soon to Jalan Keppel
- Jalan Keppel to Jalan Abang Galau
In light of this, police are requesting the public’s cooperation to plan their travels by choosing alternative routes or avoiding areas where the procession will pass through to avoid traffic congestion.
“Those who want to watch the procession are advised not to park their vehicles by the roadside along the parade’s routes,” he said.
