SARIKEI: Jalan Si Wo in Sungai Labas has been upgraded and is now open to traffic.

The road project was funded under the People-Friendly Project initiative, secured by Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability, Sarikei MP and Repok assemblyman Datuk Seri Huang Tiong Sii, for his constituency.

“The Sarawak State Development Office, together with the Sarikei Constituency Service Centre team, inspected the completed project this morning,” said Huang in a statement today (Dec 16).

Gung Chiu Kion, representing Huang, witnessed the handover ceremony for the completed project.

Also present were Kumpang Brandah from the Sarawak State Development Office, Ho Sun Khun, a resident of Jalan Si Wo, and Wong Soon Mee from the Sarikei Constituency Service Team.
