KUCHING: The youth of Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) plays a crucial role in continuing the noble struggle for the unity of the people, strengthening the harmony of various races, and upholding Sarawak’s rights, especially in the context of the Malaysia Agreement 1963 (MA63).

Party’s outgoing youth chief Miro Simuh said the agreement is not owned by the federal government, but rather a document that determines the rights and future of the people of Sarawak in Malaysia.

“MA63 is the foundation of our rights and must be defended and fully restored. All the rights enshrined in this agreement should not be questioned and must be returned.

“Therefore, when it comes to MA63, we must all unite in claiming the rights stipulated,” he said.

He said this during the PBB Women and Youth Wings 16th Triennial General Meeting at Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK) today.

Miro, who is also the Serembu assemblyman emphasised that the struggle of the PBB Youth is not based on hatred or division, but rather a platform to strengthen the party.

“Our struggle is not to sow hatred or destruction, but to ensure that our sacred party, PBB, remains strong, respected, and the backbone of the Sarawak government,” he said.

In facing the upcoming election, he urged the youth to continue working hard to ensure PBB remains dominant, with the goal of maintaining an absolute victory in the state.
