KUCHING: A RM200,000 allocation under the Rural Transformation Programme (RTP) has supported the completion of a car park project at Blessed Church here.

The contribution was channelled through the RTP fund of Batu Kitang assemblyman, Datuk Lo Khere Chiang.

The project, which cost over RM1 million in total, has been fully completed and is now operational, improving accessibility and convenience for church members and visitors.

The upgraded facility is expected to ease parking constraints during services and events, particularly during peak periods.

According to a press statement, the contribution reflects ongoing efforts to enhance community infrastructure while addressing the practical needs of local residents.

It also highlights continued collaboration between elected representatives and community institutions in strengthening public amenities and supporting inclusive development at the grassroots level.
