BALINGIAN: The Rumah Spektra Permata (RSP) housing project here is nearing completion, with construction progress reaching 90 per cent.
Balingian assemblyman Abdul Yakub Arbi said infrastructure works had only just begun, while the housing units themselves were almost fully completed.
“This project is expected to bring great benefits to local residents as it provides them with the opportunity to own more comfortable and organised homes,” he said after inspecting the project site on Thursday.
He also commended the contractor for maintaining high quality and discipline, ensuring that the project proceeded according to schedule.
“Collaboration between all parties, including the implementing agencies, is vital to ensure the project is completed properly for the well-being of the people,” he added.
The project involves 22 housing units under the Village Expansion Scheme (SPK) to meet housing needs in the area.
It is expected to be fully completed soon, providing much-needed new homes for Balingian residents who have long awaited them.
