BINTULU: Street Animal Rescue Association (SARA) will be hosting a ‘Be Our Voice’ virtual charity run in support of strays here.
The 8km virtual run initiative is to raise funds for the association’s ongoing efforts to Trap, Neuter, Return, or Rehome (TNR), build TNR stations and support rescue efforts for the strays.
In a press release SARA said participants can run at their own pace anywhere and complete the distance in one run or over a span of several days.
They are only required to install any apps such as Nike Run Club, Strava, Map My Run, Runkeeper that can track their distance, screenshot their record and send the result to the submission form.
The early bird registration starts today (July 12 to 16) at RM55, then July 17 to 31 RM65 while in August it is RM70.
The running period would last from September 1 to 30 with packages including a spinning medal, shirt and E-certificate.
