SAMSUNG has officially launched the Galaxy F06 in India, positioning it as an affordable 5G smartphone. The new device shares many similarities with the Galaxy A06, but differs in terms of processor and design.
Unlike the A06, which runs on the Helio G85 chipset, the Galaxy F06 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300, offering 5G connectivity.
Visually, the Galaxy F06 sets itself apart with an oval-shaped camera module, housing a 50MP + 2MP dual-camera system on the rear. Meanwhile, an 8MP front camera is available for selfies and video calls.
The device features a 6.7-inch HD+ LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 800 nits peak brightness, ensuring a smoother and brighter viewing experience. It runs on Samsung’s One UI, promising four years of OS and security updates for long-term reliability.
A 5,000mAh battery keeps the Galaxy F06 powered throughout the day, and it supports 25W fast charging for quicker top-ups.
The Samsung Galaxy F06 is priced at INR9,499 (around RM488) and is available in two stylish colour options: Bahana Blue and Lit Purple. As for a Malaysia release date, details remain unconfirmed, but more updates are expected soon.
