KUCHING: Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture through Sarawak Arts Council will hold ‘Sarawak and Beyond- A Musical Tour’ tomorrow 25 March 2017 at old State Legislative Assembly (DUN) building here.
The concert, starting at 8.00pm aims to promote Sarawak through international partnership with international students who are in Sarawak as ambassadors to promote the region as a tourist destination through music (orchestra).
In addition, it also aims to promote tourism and culture of the state to outside world.
Various rhythms of songs from old songs to the current songs will be featured and sung by the state’s local artistes.
Among the artistes performing are Dayang Nurfaizah, Norafizah Busman, Felicia Gek, Norainy Khan, Mohd Nazri and Mohd Shafie Kadri.
To the public who are interested to watch the concert, may obtain free admission tickets at Rumah Sarawak in Jalan Taman Budaya and Sarawak Arts Council office at old DUN in Petra Jaya or can contact Zurina Sazali and Lam Boh Kit at 082-239827 and 082-235442 during office hours.
