KUCHING: Australia has formed a partnership with Sarawak in the field of energy storage.
In revealing this, the Australian High Commissioner to Malaysia, Danielle Heinecke, said that a cooperation agreement had been signed between Australia and Sarawak.
“We have just signed the agreement to cooperate in energy storage, help Sarawak address its future energy needs and explore various options for using energy storage to meet those plans,” she told the press after paying a courtesy visit on Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg at Wisma Bapa Malaysia yesterday (March 3).
According to Heinecke, Australia is also interested in attracting more investors to Sarawak.
