KUCHING: The Sarawak Business Federation (SBF) successfully held its 10th Annual General Meeting (AGM) at the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK) today.

It gathered representatives from member associations to review the federation’s progress and chart the course ahead.

The meeting saw the presentation and approval of key documents, including annual reports, financial statements, and updates on ongoing initiatives.

Delegates engaged in meaningful discussions on SBF’s strategic priorities, reaffirming their commitment to a stronger, more united business landscape in Sarawak.

All proceedings were conducted smoothly, with members contributing actively throughout the session.

In his address, SBF President, Datuk Seri Abang Abdul Karim Tun Openg, reflected on the federation’s decade-long journey and highlighted the importance of continued cooperation among industry players.

“As we mark a decade since the formation of the federation, it is clear that unity among our business associations has been a key driver of progress.

“Moving forward, together we must continue to build a resilient and competitive business environment in Sarawak,” he said.

The AGM served not only as a formal platform for governance but also as a celebration of SBF’s growing influence and its role in championing industry collaboration in the region.
