Selangor emerged overall champions with 34 gold, 29 silver and 20 bronze medals for a total of 83 medals, while Penang placed second with 28 gold, 20 silver and 16 bronze medals.

Sarawak’s third-place finish put the state ahead of several established aquatics programmes from across the country.
