KUALA LUMPUR: Ten Sarawak entrepreneurs are showcasing food, beverage and cosmetics products at the 21st Malaysia International Halal Showcase (MIHAS 2025) at MITEC from Sept 17 to 20.
The four-day exhibition was officially opened on Friday by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
MIHAS 2025 is jointly organised by the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE), Halal Development Corporation Berhad (HDC) and the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM), featuring more than 2,400 exhibition booths with exhibitors and buyers from 80 countries.
This year’s MIHAS is organised in a hybrid format, combining both physical exhibitions and virtual platforms. Exhibitors are also offered interactive virtual booths equipped with multimedia microsites to display their products and services.
The 2025 edition places particular emphasis on empowering halal industry players to explore innovation and adopt sustainable initiatives as key drivers of halal economic growth.
