MIRI: Sarawak Oil Palms (SOP) put the spotlight firmly on the local press last night (Nov 27) as the company hosted its Media Appreciation 2025 event here, recognising journalists as key partners in shaping public understanding of the region’s flagship industry.
The annual gathering drew newsrooms from across the Miri division for an evening that blended acknowledgement, open dialogue, and a welcome dose of camaraderie.

Head of Support and Services Joseph Ling, speaking on behalf of the management team, delivered a message of gratitude.
