KUCHING: The final of the prestigious Sarawak Premier League 2025/2026 is now expected to take place on Feb 15, following a revision to the original schedule.
The new date replaces the two earlier proposed options – Feb 7 and 14 – set by the organising committee.
Tournament chairman, Sophie Shariee, said the change was necessitated by unavoidable circumstances.
“There is a strong possibility that the final will be held on Feb 15,” she told Arena Suara Sarawak.
However, he added that the venue for the final has yet to be confirmed.
“We will announce the venue in the near future,” he said.
Meanwhile, the Sarawak Premier League 2025/2026 enters its second leg of the semi-final stage, featuring the four remaining teams.
Samarahan will face Serian at Stadium Sarawak this Saturday (Jan 31), while Bintulu take on Kuching at Stadium Bintulu on Sunday (Feb 1).
