KUCHING: For the first time in its history, the Sarawak Regatta 2025 will be streamed live, free and in HD on ‘TVS Inspire’ – Sarawak’s first homegrown OTT (Over-the-Top) app.
The breakthrough means audiences anywhere in the world can witness the thrills of the regatta, from the clash of paddles to the roar of victory, directly on their screens.
By downloading and registering the ‘TVS Inspire’ app from the App Store or Google Play Store, viewers can immerse themselves in the full experience – from river duels to behind-the-scenes stories and vibrant cultural showcases.

To be held from October 31 to November 2 at the Kuching Waterfront, the regatta will feature adrenaline-charged competitions including the iconic 30-paddler Bidar race for the ‘Raja Sungai’ crown, alongside crowd favourites such as the Brooke Swim, Raft Tug-of-War, and Duck Catching Contest.
Off the river, visitors will be treated to cultural performances, local crafts, and cuisines that reflect Sarawak’s rich heritage.
The celebration will be graced by His Royal Highness the Sultan of Pahang and members of the Royal Family.
Her Royal Highness the Sultanah of Pahang will also visit the Craft Festival to view Sarawak’s renowned ‘keringkam’ embroidery, marking a new collaboration between Sarawak and Pahang artisans.
