KUCHING:Sarawak will send six representatives to the National Level Majlis Tilawah dan Hafazan al-Quran to Perlis in a bid to replicate its previous successes at both national and international levels.
Sarawak Islamic Council (MIS) president Datuk Misnu Taha announced that Sarawak痴 contingent includes experienced participants such as Muhammad Faizal Afandi, who will compete in the tilawah (recitation) category, and Huziah Ayub, the most seasoned participant in the team.
党This year, Alhamdulillah, Perlis has been chosen as the host state, and Sarawak has been entrusted to send its best representatives. We hope they will make the state proud.”
He said this during a courtesy visit by the Sarawak delegation to the MIS office on Tuesday (April 15).
He added that Sarawak has achieved remarkable accomplishments on both national and international stages in the past, and this participation is seen as a chance to maintain that momentum.

The other four participants will compete in the hafazan (memorisation) categories, covering Juz one to ten, one to 20, and one to 30, with both male and female representatives.
