KUCHING: Two Sarawakian cricketers have been named in the Malaysian women’s squad for the Hong Kong, China Women’s T20I Tri-Series 2026 scheduled from May 7 to 11.
The players are sisters Nur Dania Syuhada Abedul Samad and Nur Qaireen Syakira Abedul Samad, who will represent Malaysia in the international tournament at the Tin Kwong Road Recreation Ground in Hong Kong.
Malaysia are set to face Hong Kong and China in the tri-series, with the top two teams advancing to the final on May 11.
According to the Sarawak Cricket Association Facebook page, the selection of both players marks a proud moment for Sarawak cricket as the state continues to produce talent capable of competing at international level.
Malaysia will open their campaign against China on May 7 before taking on hosts Hong Kong later the same day.
