SINGAPORE: Sarawak is continuing efforts to boost its regional presence and business engagement with a recent working visit to the Sarawak Trade and Tourism Company Pte Ltd (STATOS) office and gallery in Singapore.

According to the Sarawak Public Communications Unit (UKAS), Deputy State Secretary (Operations), Datuk Hii Chang Kee, was received by STATOS Chief Executive Officer, Chew Chang Guan, who also accompanied him during a tour of the STATOS Gallery.

It said the gallery serves as a permanent showcase of Sarawak’s diverse offerings, ranging from food and beverages to handicrafts, art and lifestyle products that reflect the state’s rich cultural heritage and economic potential.

Chew is quoted as saying the gallery plays a key role in raising the visibility of Sarawak’s high-quality products while introducing Singapore’s market to authentic goods from the state.

“We welcome Sarawakians living in Singapore and local residents to visit the gallery and experience the uniqueness and cultural legacy of Sarawak,” he added.

UKAS said the visit reflects the Sarawak Government’s strategic push to deepen regional connections and promote awareness of Sarawak through platforms like the STATOS Gallery, while supporting local enterprises in exploring international markets.
