KUCHING: Sarawak’s first-ever Food and Beverage Expo (SARFEX2025) will take place from Dec 19 to 21 at Boulevard Shopping Mall, featuring more than 300 brands from across Malaysia’s dynamic F&B industry.
Organised by 303 Events–ESM Exhibitor Relations Malaysia, the expo carries the theme “Your Gateway to the F&B Market in Borneo” and aims to serve as a key platform for industry players, entrepreneurs, and the public to explore business opportunities and emerging trends in the food and beverage sector.
Managing director Datuk Dayang Khatijah Datu Bachtiyal said the event will gather suppliers, manufacturers, wholesalers, importers, and government agencies under one roof, featuring a wide range of products such as fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), packaging solutions, health and organic products, and agricultural-based items.
“Visitors can look forward to tasting sessions, product samplings, and insights into the latest F&B innovations while discovering potential partners and customers,” she said in a press statement.
Participating agencies include the Sarawak Department of Agriculture, Area Farmers’ Organisation, and the Malaysian Pineapple Industry Board.
The three-day expo will also provide business-to-business (B2B) opportunities, with many exhibitors seeking distributors, wholesalers, and supermarket partners to expand their reach in Sarawak, Sabah, and Kalimantan, Indonesia.
SARFEX2025 is expected to attract around 50,000 visitors. The event will be open daily from 10am to 9pm, with free admission and complimentary gifts for the first 1,000 visitors.
Members of the public including supermarket owners, importers, distributors, restaurateurs, café operators, investors, and food enthusiasts are encouraged to attend and support the growth of Sarawak’s dynamic F&B industry.
