KUCHING: Strengthening strategic cooperation between the federal and Sarawak governments was a key focus of discussions during a courtesy visit by the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Malaysia, Datuk Seri Amran Mohamed Zin, to Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan.
The visit at Wisma Sumber Alam on Monday served as a platform for both parties to discuss joint approaches in safeguarding Sarawak’s interests on the international stage, and enhancing the state’s involvement in Malaysia’s foreign relations framework.
The engagement also emphasised on the importance of aligning federal and state-level efforts in addressing international matters that impact Sarawak.
