The programme, which will be held at the Dalat Welfare Complex, starting from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, will bring the services of the Sarawakiana Division to the Central Sarawak zone as well as the development of topic collections related to Sarawak’s local wisdom.

“This programme will bring a unique approach in documenting the state’s heritage with the collaboration of various organisations, such as the Dalat Welfare Complex, Dalat and Mukah District Council, Sarawak Customary Council (MAIS), Mukah Sapan Puloh Museum, Mukah CENTEXS, and many more.

“It is dedicated to attracting the interest of various levels of society, especially lovers of tradition and culture,” PUSTAKA Sibu said in a media release on Thursday.

In addition, there will be several exciting events including the Sarawakian Forum titled ‘Between the Worlds: Melanau Mysticism and Traditions of Mukah Division’, as well as various interactive Sarawakian workshops covering Melanau cuisine, bulieng hat handicrafts and acrylic fine art.
