KUALA LUMPUR: A Sarawakian has won RM146,688.95 from the Toto 4D Jackpot 1 through the i-System method, becoming one of the two Malaysians to strike the jackpot in the November 23 draw.
STM Lottery Sdn Bhd in a statement, said that the Sarawak winner secured the prize using the numbers 5641, 6197 or 1927, sharing the winning combination with a Melaka-based bettor who took home the much larger portion of the jackpot.
The Sarawakian’s prize forms part of the total Toto 4D Jackpot 1 pool worth RM20.32 million for Draw No. 6052/25.
The bigger share of the jackpot, valued at RM20.17 million, was claimed by a 61-year-old bachelor from Melaka, who visited the STM Lottery head office with a friend to collect his winnings.
The retiree, a former oil palm estate supervisor, revealed that his winning numbers 5641 and 1927 were inspired by the registration numbers of two bright blue sports cars parked side by side at a shopping mall.
He spent only RM2 on the bet before walking away with RM20,169,749.30.
The Melaka winner shared that he intends to invest his newfound fortune wisely.
