BINTULU: Sarawakians are urged to continue providing strong support to the leadership of Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg to further advance the state and improve the living standards of its people.
Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan stated that the strong support would indirectly enable the Sarawak government to increase the state’s revenue, which would then be channelled to the people through Minor Rural Projects (MRP) and Rural Transformation Programme Projects (RTP).
Additionally, an allocation totaling RM80,000 has been handed over to 16 recipients, including Village Development and Security Committees (JKKK) and Village Women’s Bureaus, Parent-Teacher Associations (PTA), and several other associations in the Jepak constituency.
The allocation was presented by him during a Special Project Grant, MRP presentation ceremony for the Jepak constituency held at the Fairfield Marriot Hotel Bintulu recently.
He explained that the allocation is intended for carrying out respective activities and other necessary requirements of the recipients.
“For those who did not receive a grant this time, they can still apply for consideration, and we are ready to assist,” he said.
Also present were Jepak assemblyman Iskandar Turkee and acting Bintulu District Officer, Awang Mohammed Nizam Awang Ali Bohan.
