KUCHING: As the Sarawak state election approaches, Satok assemblyman Datuk Ibrahim Baki is calling upon local leaders and residents to stand united and stay prepared.
He emphasised that the constituency must deliver a strong mandate as a show of confidence in its leadership.
“As we near the end of our term, with roughly nine months left, it is time to reflect on whether we have honoured the trust and duties placed upon us,” he said.
The Deputy Minister of Utility (Sarawak Energy Bhd and Petros) expressed pride in what has been accomplished in his constituency during the N8 Satok Aidilfitri Gathering on Friday (April 10).
“I am glad to say we have fulfilled our responsibilities to the best of our ability, delivering meaningful results across both infrastructure and human capital development,” he said.
Reaffirming Satok’s standing as a stronghold of Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) and Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS), Ibrahim underscored the need for a convincing win in the upcoming polls.
“We must defend Satok and secure a resounding victory – one that sends a clear message that our community remains united and lives in harmony,” he said.
He credited Sarawak’s ongoing stability to firm leadership and a well-defined development agenda, adding that the unity of its people continues to be a defining strength.
“We are not seasonal workers – we serve throughout the year. In the end, whoever is chosen as the candidate, we must rally behind them with full and unwavering support,” he added.
