KUALA LUMPUR: Saudi Arabia has urged visa holders stranded in the Kingdom due to the current circumstances in the region to leave before April 18 to avoid any violations of laws.

The Saudi Press Agency reported on Wednesday that the Interior Ministry said the measures apply to all visit visa holders, including umrah, transit and final-exit visas.

According to the report, visa holders whose visas expired as of February 25 may either extend their stay until April 18 by paying the mandated fees through the Absher platform or depart immediately via international exit points without paying any extension fees or late fines.

The ministry advised all affected visa holders to comply with the directive and leave before April 18 to avoid any enforcement action under the Kingdom’s regulations. – BERNAMA
