KUCHING: A grant of RM96,653 has been allocated to Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Tabuan Ulu for the upgrade of its teachers’ room and office space.

The contribution, made by the office of Bandar Kuching Member of Parliament Dr. Kelvin Yii, will be used to provide new office furniture, including desks and chairs.

Dr Yii said that in previous years, similar efforts were made to improve the school’s facilities, noting that the school had received assistance for the repainting of its building, as the old paint had begun to wear off.

Further contributions included the resurfacing and repainting of the school’s physical activity areas, such as the badminton, sepak takraw, and futsal courts, benefitting the entire school community.

In 2019, Dr. Yii’s office also contributed to upgrading the school’s toilets, including those for teachers, which were in poor condition.
