MUKAH: An open hall at SK St Patrick’s Mukah that is currently under construction is expected to be completed by the end of next month.
Without elaborating the cost, the chairman of the school’s Parent-Teacher Association (PIBG), Zainal Laily, warned the pupils of the school not to play or loiter at the site for now.
“I want the parents to tell their children not to go to the site which is now temporarily closed to stop pupils and others from getting too close to it. We don’t want to compromise on safety,” he said.
At the same time, he also urged the parents who fetched their children from school to park their cars along the road leading to the Kaul Festival Site, Taman Kala Dana, behind the school.
With the completion of the hall, pupils of the 113-year-old school (the oldest in in district) would have a bigger and proper avenue to hold their activities.
