The school lab was in a mess after the break-in.

SANTUBONG: A computer lab of a school here was broken into during the recent long weekend.

The school security guard in his police report yesterday morning claimed that items costing a total of RM38,519 were stolen.

The security guard said that while patrolling the school last Sunday around 4.10am, he found that the door of the computer lab has been forced opened. When he checked further he found that the lab was in a mess. He then immediately informed the headmaster about it.

After a thorough check it was found that 32 Lenovo Netbooks costing RM32,000, a Hitachi LCD projector costing RM2,030 and a Geha Compact 228 LCD projector costing RM4,489 were stolen.

Police also went to the scene to investigate and dusted for fingerprints.
