MUKAH: Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Datuk Awang Udin here will have a new concrete walkway with a roof soon.
A local contractor Cemerlang Jitu Enterprise has been appointed to undertake the construction of the walkway project valued at RM70,000.
The handover of contract documents pertaining to the project site from the implementing agency Mukah Division Public Works Department (JKR) to the contractor was held at the school on Saturday (Aug 14).
Tellian assemblyman Yussibnosh Balo witnessed the simple ceremony, which was also attended by JKR officers and other local officials.
The contract period of the project, which is under the 2021 rural transformation programme (RTP) is four months.
