KUALA LUMPUR: Scoot, the low-cost subsidiary of Singapore Airlines, has launched a New Year sale offering one-way promotional fares across its international network for travel throughout most of 2026.
The sales start on January 7, from 10:00 am until 11:59 pm on January 12, 2026.
It is open to travellers departing from multiple Malaysian cities, including Ipoh, Kota Bharu, Kota Kinabalu, Kuala Lumpur, Kuantan, Kuching, Langkawi, Malacca, Miri, Penang and Sibu.
The promotional fares cover destinations in Southeast Asia, North Asia, Australia and Europe, with connections via Singapore.
Scoot said the campaign comes ahead of the Chinese New Year and Hari Raya festive periods, providing Malaysians with more affordable travel options for both short breaks and more extended holidays.
Travel periods vary by departure city and span from January 7 to October 24, 2026, with blackout dates during school holidays and major events.
Among the highlighted fares are Kuala Lumpur-Singapore at MYR82, Kuala Lumpur-Perth at MYR329, Kuantan-Taipei at MYR309, Kota Bharu-Da Nang at MYR349, Malacca-Tokyo (Narita or Haneda) at MYR649, and Ipoh-Athens at MYR769.
Passengers seeking additional comfort may opt for ScootPlus, which includes an extra cabin baggage allowance, more legroom, in-flight refreshments, internet access, and priority boarding.
ScootPlus fares start from MYR259 to Singapore, MYR959 to Perth, and MYR1,399 to Melbourne or Osaka.
The promotional fares are available for booking via Scoot’s official website, mobile app and authorised sales channels, subject to seat availability.
