KUCHING: A delegation from the Sarawak Scout Council visited the Hari Raya Aidilfitri Open House hosted by Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg at Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK) on Tuesday.
The delegation was led by council president Tan Sri William Mawan Ikom and comprised of council members and state scout commissioners.
The visit served as a means to fostering goodwill among the Scouts and the state’s leadership during the joyous occasion. It was also a significant gesture, as Abang Johari is also the Chief Scout of Sarawak.
This annual tradition allows the scout council to show appreciation for the leadership of the Chief Scout while promoting unity among the Scout members and the state’s leadership.
