KUALA LUMPUR: Travellers planning a Sarawak holiday can enjoy savings of up to 40 per cent on selected Sia Sitok Sarawak holiday packages.
The packages are available exclusively at the Sarawak Pavilion during MATTA Fair September 2026 from Sept 4 to 6.
The packages will be offered exclusively through participating Sarawak travel agents at Booth 1A10, Domestic Hall, Level 1, Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC), from 10am to 9pm throughout the three-day fair.
“Bookings must be made fair, with travel valid until December 15, 2026.
“The qualifying packages are multi-day holidays requiring a minimum stay of three days and two nights,” according to a statement issued by Sarawak Tourism Board (STB) on Wednesday (Aug 26).
Adding to the offers, AirBorneo will highlight its Sarawakku Sayang fares for travel between Kuala Lumpur and Kuching, starting from RM375 one-way for an all-in Economy Class ticket inclusive of airport taxes and fuel surcharges.
The Sarawak Pavilion will bring together 30 exhibitors, comprising 20 trade exhibitors, including tour operators, accommodation providers and tourism product owners, alongside 10 non-trade exhibitors showcasing Sarawak’s arts, culture, handicrafts, food and beverages.
Visitors can choose from holiday experiences across southern, central and northern Sarawak, including family getaways, cultural journeys, wildlife encounters, rainforest adventures, highland escapes and multi-destination itineraries.
Packages will feature destinations including Kuching, Sibu, Mukah, Bintulu, Miri, Niah, Mulu and Bario.
In southern Sarawak, travellers can explore Kuching and surrounding areas through experiences
covering culture and heritage, wildlife, national parks, caves and countryside attractions.
Central Sarawak packages feature Sibu, Mukah and Bintulu, offering longhouse and countryside journeys as well as Melanau heritage, river and coastal experiences.
Meanwhile, northern Sarawak packages cover Miri, Niah, Mulu and Bario, focusing on nature, caves, highlands and adventure.
The region is home to two UNESCO World Heritage Sites namely Gunung Mulu National Park and the Archaeological Heritage of Niah National Park’s Caves Complex.
STB CEO Dr Sharzede Salleh Askor said the campaign is an opportunity to encourage travellers to look beyond the familiar and discover more of Sarawak.
“Sarawak offers very different experiences from one region to another, and we want travellers to see that there is always more to discover beyond the places they may already know.
“Sia Sitok Sarawak brings these experiences together in a way that makes planning a Sarawak holiday easier, while supporting our local tourism partners who bring these journeys to life.”
For the record, the September edition marks the second leg of the Sia Sitok Sarawak Campaign at MATTA Fair Kuala Lumpur in 2026, following its first outing in April.
