MIRI: A meet-the-people session organised by the Senadin Mobile Service Team saw residents and stall owners airing concerns affecting their neighbourhoods here today.
The platform enabled local authorities to gather valuable feedback directly from them.
The effort was led by Senadin assemblyman Datuk Seri Lee Kim Shin.
It involved local councillors and community leaders from SUPP Senadin, including Jeffery Phang Siaw Foong, Toh Kah Shiong, Yap Siew Jin and Kapitan Chong Ah Muk.
Lee emphasised the importance of such community engagement efforts, encouraging residents to share feedback on public services to help improve their delivery.
He assured the public that councillors and community leaders would work closely with relevant departments to resolve any issue raised.
Senior citizens also took the opportunity to inquire about the Senior Citizen Health Benefit (SCHB) application process.
The Senadin service team provided guidance and assistance to those seeking to apply, reinforcing their commitment to addressing the community’s diverse needs.
