KUCHING: Senari Synergy organised a special Raya shopping trip for children from its Permata Synergy programme on Sunday (March 23).
The event provided the children with a meaningful experience, allowing them to personally select new clothes in preparation for the upcoming Raya celebrations.
Made possible through generous contributions from Senari Synergy’s employees, the event not only reflected their willingness to share their blessings and support but also fostered empathy, social responsibility and reinforced the company’s commitment to community welfare.
“This year, we wanted to make Raya extra special for the children by allowing them to choose their own clothes. It is not just about providing material support; it is about creating a memorable and joyful experience that they can cherish,” said Senari Synergy group managing director Datuk Jefri Ahmad Tambi.
“This initiative ensures that the children feel valued and celebrated. We are proud to see our employees stepping forward to contribute, embodying the true essence of giving and togetherness.”
Prior to the shopping trip, the children were also invited to an iftar gathering on March 18 at the Sarawak Golf Club.
The Permata Synergy programme provides ongoing support for underprivileged children, offering monthly allowances as well as school uniforms and stationery through its annual ‘Back-to-School’ initiative.
