BINTULU: The unwavering commitment to strengthening unity and safeguarding the welfare of the people remains a top priority for Tanjong Batu assemblyman Johnny Pang Leong Ming during every engagement with the local community.

He emphasised that he is always ready to assist the people, particularly in matters concerning basic infrastructure, community welfare, and youth development.

“As a people’s representative, I am fully committed to ensuring that the wellbeing of the community remains a key focus — from basic amenities and family welfare to youth development. What matters most is that we continue moving forward and working together for a better future,” he said.

He made these remarks while speaking at the Ramah Tamah Aidilfitri event jointly organised by the Neighbourhood Watch Area (KRT) Kampung Assyakirin Phase 2, Bintulu Division Football Association (BIFA), KSR Onehead Bintulu, and KST Myphamm Bintulu, held on Sunday night.

He noted that such gatherings not only strengthen neighbourly bonds but also serve as a bridge to foster closer ties between leaders and the people.

“Aidilfitri is the perfect time for us to reinforce unity, show mutual appreciation, and celebrate our differences with respect.

“Although we come from various backgrounds, we are all Sarawakians living in harmony and with great tolerance,” Pang added.

He also expressed his appreciation to the organisers for their initiative in hosting the event, which reflects the spirit of unity within the local community.
