SGH looking for patient’s family members

KUCHING: Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) is appealing to the public for assistance locating the next of kin or family members of Mohd Fikhrie Yusuf, a 35-year-old patient currently receiving treatment at the hospital’s Emergency and Trauma Department. 

Mohd Fikhrie was brought to SGH by ambulance on March 13, 2025, for urgent medical attention.

However, no family members or relatives have come forward to visit or assist in his care. 

According to the hospital authorities, the patient remains stable in the Yellow Zone of the Emergency and Trauma Department.

The hospital is seeking his next of kin to assist in making treatment decisions and discharge arrangements. 

SGH urges anyone who may know the patient or his family members to come forward immediately.

Family members or next of kin are requested to visit the Yellow Zone, Emergency and Trauma Department, or contact the hospital at 082 276 666 (ext. 5164). 

Alternatively, they can contact Batang Ringkai, the medical social work officer, at 082 276 252 (during office hours).
