SIBU: Two businessmen contributed to Sibu Hospital on Thursday, donating six air-conditioners and 12 electric fans to improve comfort for patients and hospital staff.

Chuong Soui Chang, 78, who runs a bakery business, handed over six air-conditioners and an electrical distribution box to Sibu Hospital Deputy Director, Dr Nizam Ishak, in the presence of Sibu Hospital Visitors’ Board Chairman, Michael Lee, and other officials.

The contribution is valued at over RM30,000.

Expressing his gratitude, Lee said the donation would allow more hospital wards to be fitted with air-conditioners, providing a more comfortable environment for patients and staff.
