SIBU: Got an hour to spare this weekend? It could save a life.
The Sibu Hospital Blood Bank is calling on generous hearts across the community to roll up their sleeves and donate blood at two upcoming campaigns aimed at replenishing blood supplies.
In a statement via its Facebook page, the hospital said the first blood drive, in collaboration with Proton Edar Sdn Bhd, will take place at at Jalan Bukit Lima on May 24 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
The second blood donation drive, organised together with the Sibu Life Care Society, will be held at the orange zone of Star Mega Mall on May 25 and will run from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.
“Come and join our blood donation campaign taking place this week.
“We warmly welcome your participation! Gen Z donors are especially encouraged to step forward and donate blood,” the hospital.
